Belly Button Tickling: A Childhood Memory

Tickling the belly button was a game that brought me immense joy during my childhood. With a focus on fond, innocent memories, I explore the fun and fascination of this playful activity through a personal story.

Tickling as a Shared Experience

Tickling the belly button is often a shared experience that captures the innocence of childhood. I recall my days playing with a playmate named Drishya, a girl two decades my senior. Our house was just a stone's throw away, and we spent many summers together, engrossed in one of our favorite games: Jeevan Kali, which translates to 'Life Game' in English.

The Game of Jeevan Kali

Jeevan Kali was a simple game that involved one person lying still on the ground, pretending to be a lifeless body. The other player would try to revive the 'corpse' by eliciting any reaction. The struggle to remain motionless or to resist laughter formed the core of our playful interaction.

Exploring Tickling Tactics

The game began with light tickling on the neck and midriff, but as our skills and endurance improved, we engaged in more sophisticated tactics. Drishya, my senior, often led by example, and I followed her cues, learning to be creative in our approach. Our favorite target soon became the belly button, a small but significant area that held our immediate attention and laughter.

Tickling Drishya Chechi's Navel

One particular day, it was my turn to play dead. Drishya Chechi raised my t-shirt and began to tickle my belly button. The intensity of the tickling was so great that I couldn't hold back and burst into laughter. It was a moment that taught me the power of tickling and the pleasure it brought.

Getting Drishya to Laugh

The next day, it was Drishya's turn to lie down. Imbued with her confidence, I decided to try the same. Drishya was wearing a waist-long blouse and skirt, and I unhooked a few buttons around her belly to reveal her smooth, fair navel. I remember the special fascination I felt for her navel, even at such a young age. Embracing the game, I slowly ran my fingers over her bare belly, watching as her lips twitched in a valiant attempt to hold back laughter.

Pressing the Nerve

When direct tickling failed to elicit a reaction, I changed my strategy. I began to gently trace circles around her belly button with my index finger, teasing her. After a few playful circles, I lightly pressed my finger inside, and it was all over. Drishya Chechi finally broke into a fit of giggles, unable to contain her laughter no longer.

A Main Target

From that day on, the navel became a central target in our game of Jeevan Kali. The excitement of touching her navel each time made it my absolute favorite game. Tickling the belly button, a small action, brought us immense joy and laughter.

Reflections on Childhood

This shared experience of tickling belly buttons during our childhood days shows the unique bond we formed through simple, playful activities. Even though it happened so long ago, the memory remains vivid, reminding me of the joy and innocence of those moments.
