This vehicle is kept filled with fuel and either on the street ready to go or in the driveway. We also have a predetermined evacuation location to meet at.

For on-site survival, which is the most likely scenario, we have plastic barrels filled with a vast array of items such as a huge shelter tent, fresh water, backup food, paracord, flashlights, batteries, a radio, a generator, cots, sleeping bags, and much more. Even if our house is leveled in an earthquake and we survived, we can survive just fine in place until we can rebuild. There’s more than one way to prepare, and simply using a bugout bag with a few weapons is not very likely for us.
