Can Hypnosis Help You Quit Smoking via Zoom? Expert Insights

As a professional in the field of hypnosis and smoking cessation, I am frequently asked if it is possible to achieve this goal through a virtual platform such as Zoom. Given the widespread use of Zoom during the Pandemic for hypnosis professional conferences, hypnosis schools, and individual client sessions, the answer is a resounding yes. Hypnosis can indeed be effectively used to help you quit smoking, whether in person or via Zoom.

Using Zoom for Hypnotherapy to Quit Smoking

Specifically, I use Zoom regularly for hypnotherapy sessions, a technique that has been proven beneficial for smokers looking to quit. Hypnosis has long been used to aid in smoking cessation and is one of the most effective tools when used correctly. This method often proves even more beneficial when conducted via Zoom, as the client is in their own home where they might frequently engage in smoking. This familiar and comfortable environment can make it easier to address and modify the smoking habit.

Why Hypnosis is Safer and More Effective than Vaping

It is important to address the misconception that hypnosis is not effective or that one should use alternatives like vaping to quit smoking. Vaping has not been definitively proven as a safe alternative, and we have not yet seen long-term studies on the harmful effects of the chemicals found in vaping products. Historically, smoking was even promoted by doctors; it was only decades later that the negative impacts of smoking and secondhand smoke were fully uncovered.

Compared to smoking or vaping, hypnosis is a much safer and more effective option. It completely removes smoking from your life if done correctly and has no negative side effects or health risks. Unlike smoking or vaping, it does not leave you with bad habits or regular extra expenses, making it a win-win for those seeking to quit smoking.
