I recently watched a film by David Sorensen on his Stop the World Control website titled A More Lucid Dawn. The film contained the most absurd conspiracy theories I have ever seen. He alleged that Israel collaborated with Hamas to start the present Gaza war on October 7th to have an excuse to destroy Hamas and establish a world government with a Zionist HQ in Jerusalem. Amongst other claims, Sorensen asserted that the Rothschilds funded the Schofield Reference Bible to turn Christians into Zionist supporters. When I wrote to David Sorensen challenging these claims, he dismissed my objections as denying ‘proven facts.’

One of the most disturbing aspects of Sorensen’s film was the recycling of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an infamous anti-Semitic propaganda document. A fundamental shift in critical thinking is required when such propaganda is interwoven into the anti-globalist movement. Let me break down the points I made in my email to him:

Cooperation between Israel and Hamas? A Non-Starter

I agreed that the fact that Hamas had been able to walk into Israel from Gaza raises significant questions about how Israel’s security allowed such an incident to occur. However, I found it illogical to suggest that Israel and Hamas collaborated to create a pretext for the destruction of Palestinians in Gaza.

I provided historical context, including the fact that Israel had previously cooperated with Hamas as a foil to Fatah and the Palestinian Liberation Organization, but times have changed significantly. Today, Hamas has taken over part of the Palestinian territories aimed at a two-state solution, whereas the Palestine Authority now accepts this plan, but Hamas consistently uses that territory to launch attacks on Israel with missiles supplied by Iran. Hamas’s charter aims for the destruction of Israel and an Islamic state, not coexistence.

Backed by Iran or Israel?

I questioned his assertions that Hamas was secretly backed by the Israeli government and globalists, pointing out that in reality, Hamas is backed by Iran, which espouses a radical Shi’a Muslim ideology. Iran aims for world domination, a threat not only to Israel but to moderate Muslims in the Middle East. An Israeli government that would cooperate with such a group to set up a world government under Zionism is, in my view, highly implausible.

The ongoing war in Gaza has drawn in Iranian proxies, including Hezbollah and other groups, which all have the shared goal of destroying Israel. This is a far cry from what Sorensen suggests.

Conspiracy Theories vs. Evidence

In comparing the baseless claims about “Deep State” involvement, the Rothschilds, and conspiracy theories with the clear evidence of Iran’s and its allies’ aims, it is evident that Sorensen’s arguments lack credibility. His arguments that a full-scale war over Israel would facilitate a world government from Jerusalem are also far-fetched, given the opposition to such an entity from much of the world.

His dismissal of my objections as denying ‘proven facts’ is a red flag. Sorensen’s unwillingness to engage in constructive dialogue further reinforces my skepticism about the integrity and genuineness of his claims and his organization.
