The Bible is clear on this matter, emphasizing that only God and angelic beings other than hostile entities will accompany the soul and spirit in the afterlife.

The Bible teaches that every human being will face judgment after physical death. In Hebrews 9:27, it states, "And just as it is appointed for man to die once and after that comes judgment." The destiny of one's soul and spirit depends on repentance of sins and placing faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Christ Jesus took the guilt and penalty of our sins upon Himself, dying on the cross at Calvary. However, He also demonstrated victory over sin and death, as witnessed by His resurrection. Christ offers forgiveness, imputed righteousness, the Holy Spirit, and eternal life with Him in heaven.

Those who accept Christ Jesus are promised eternal life in heaven. Conversely, those who reject God and His plan for salvation will be separated from Him in hell. Those who will be alive and resurrected when Christ returns will also enjoy eternal life in heaven.
