Introduction to My Philosophy on Life and Vision

I consciously avoid creating a long-term vision for the future, recognizing that change is unavoidable and our world is currently filled with turmoil. Instead, I embrace a philosophy of living in the present, focusing on each day as it comes. This approach allows me to appreciate the little moments that make up my daily experiences. By living in the now, I remain open to whatever tomorrow has in store for me, finding joy in the simplicity of each passing moment.

A Personal Journey with My Vision

Assuming you're asking about my eyesight… Most people would consider my distance vision to be fairly poor. I have -5.75 in one eye and -6.0 in the other, requiring soft contacts to correct. The numbers vary slightly for eyeglasses, but if those numbers mean nothing to you, I often say, “I know the big blob at the top of the chart is supposed to be an ‘E.’” I find it amusing to note that even such a seemingly simple test can be challenging. It's worth mentioning that I have met a few individuals whose eyesight is even worse than mine.

My journey with vision began when I was about 10 years old, and it has been a slow progression since then. While it has mostly plateaued over the past ten to fifteen years, I recently had to add reading glasses, a sign that the aging process is taking its toll. With age often come minor annoyances, and this is definitely one of them. If you're asking about my ‘vision’ for the future of America or something similar, that's a different question altogether, requiring a different kind of response. Please feel free to clarify!

My Present Vision and Life

In this current stage of my life, my personal vision is limited to only 18 degrees. My front vision is a much better 270 degrees in both eyes. Historically, my vision was better, with it used to be 20/10. But now, it's just an estimate, at around 30/20. My left eye is relatively better at 20/25, but my right eye has significantly worse central vision. One could say I am practically legally blind without my left eye.

Building My Coffee Shop

One of the goals in my present life is to open and build my own coffee shop. I envision it being the perfect place where I can create an environment that would have been the dream for me to work in. This endeavor is not just about business; it's about crafting a place where everyone can appreciate the little moments in life, much like how I have come to appreciate them in my own life.

To bring my vision to life, I am working on a substantial project. I have 400 pages and 3800 images, all dedicated to making this coffee shop a reality. My inspiration stems from a desire to create a place where concepts like world peace, ending the wickedness, and ending death and evil become more than just ideas but part of the everyday experience. I believe that this vision can transcend the physical and become a metaphor for a better future.
