Is Dr. Ravi Prakash the Best Psychiatrist in Bangalore? A Cautionary Review
Note from the Reviewer: After extensive reading of positive reviews and blindly visiting Dr. Ravi Prakash, I can confidently say that my experience with him was exceptionally negative. This article is a cautionary review to help others avoid a similar experience.
A Worst Doctor, Person, and Human Being
The title, “Is Dr. Ravi Prakash the best psychiatrist in Bangalore?” is a challenging question to answer based on my experience. To start, I believe Dr. Ravi Prakash is the worst doctor, worst person, and worst human being.
I went into this experience with a high expectation based on glowing reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was far from perfect. In my opinion, all the positive feedback is fake.
Rude and Narcissistic
My experience with Dr. Ravi Prakash began with me being very rude and narcissistic in his presence. I felt as though he was snobby and highly narcissistic. He speaks in a very flattering manner to women and is untouchable when it comes to men.
Unnecessary Medication and Negative Side Effects
Dr. Ravi Prakash prescribed me a 150 mg dose tablet twice a day, which is a very high dose that I believe is not necessary for my condition. Asking any psychiatrist in India or around the world, I believe that such a high dose is excessive. He also prescribed me other medications with high doses that were unnecessary. Due to his arbitrary prescription, my bodily functions have deteriorated significantly.
Bodily Disruptions and Health Issues
Blood Thickening: My blood has become thick, leading to various health complications.
Nerve Damage: My nerves have been damaged, causing tempered and unexplainable symptoms.
Heart Pain: I am experiencing unexplainable heart pain.
Brain Issues: I am experiencing fullness and metabolism problems. My gastric and digestive systems have become completely collapsed.
Irregular Physical Functions: My bowel movements, which used to be daily, have become irregular – I go once every two days, and that is not on the morning.

Caution for Future Patients
Based on my negative experience, I strongly urge anyone considering Dr. Ravi Prakash to seek a different psychiatrist. Your health is too important to trust in the hands of someone who does not put the well-being of their patients first.
Other Considerations for Choosing a Psychiatric Care Provider
Choosing the best psychiatrist in Bangalore is a highly personal decision. It is important to consider the following factors to ensure a good fit:
Recommendations: Ask your primary care physician or a trusted friend/family member for recommendations. Personal referrals can be incredibly helpful.
Online Reviews: Read reviews from past patients to gain insights into the doctors' approaches and patient satisfaction levels.
Qualifications and Experience: Look for psychiatrists with the necessary qualifications and a proven track record of successful treatment.
Treatment Approach: Ensure that the psychiatrist's approach aligns with your values and needs. Some may have a more holistic approach, while others might focus on pharmacological treatment.
Availability: Check the availability and accessibility of the psychiatrist to ensure you can attend regular appointments.
Ultimately, you need to find a psychiatrist you feel comfortable talking to and who can understand your unique needs and concerns. The right psychiatrist can make a significant difference in your recovery and mental well-being.
Remember, seeking help for mental health is a brave and positive step. Do not settle for a provider who compromises your care.
