Don't hesitate to indulge in activities that you enjoy, such as binge-watching TV shows, playing games, taking hot baths, and napping.

It's important to take your time to recover without feeling ashamed. Your low moods are a part of your condition, and you didn't ask for them. Taking time to rest and rejuvenate is a necessary step in managing your mental health. Just like how medical conditions like cancer or broken bones are treated with downtime, your mental health issues deserve the same consideration.

High periods might be shorter for you, but they can still be intense. To manage these highs, it's essential to engage in activities that prevent you from over-exerting yourself. Consider hobbies like kickboxing, playing pickle-ball, or trying out a new game. These activities can help you channel your energy in a positive and healthy way.

Your mental diagnosis is just a set of labels based on observed behaviors and is part of the diagnostic and statistical manual (DSM). These labels do not define you and should not be used to limit your self-perception. They serve a purpose in guiding healthcare providers towards appropriate medication, but they are just a starting point.
