Becoming a Qualified Doctor
Becoming a qualified doctor in India requires a rigorous MBBS degree and registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI). There are no shortcuts or certification programs that can replace this formal education. Once you complete the MBBS and register as a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP), you are legally allowed to practice medicine.
For alternative medical systems like homeopathy, Ayurveda, and Unani, specific qualifications are required, managed by the AYUSH Ministry. These include:
