Reviving Portugal: Three Laws to Command the Nation's Future Growth

Imagine a Portugal that once more stands tall as a titan of the seas, a nation of explorers and conquerors. This is not just an ideal; it is a reality that we can aspire to achieve if we address the right laws in the right way. Here are three proposed laws that could help revitalize and empower our nation:

The Property and Pride Restoration Law

Abandoned buildings and decaying structures are not just eyesores; they are a testament to neglect and a drain on the vitality of our cities and towns. To address this, I propose a restoration of property and pride law. This would crackdown on neglect and incentivize the restoration and repurposing of buildings in a federal framework. Harsh penalties would be imposed on property owners who do not maintain their structures, and instead, tax breaks and grants would be given to those who restore and repurpose abandoned buildings. This would not only beautify our cities but also boost local economies and create jobs. Let us make Portugal a land of grandeur, not ruins.

The Quota System and Controlled Immigration Law

While immigration has been a cornerstone of Portugal's growth, it must be balanced with the wellbeing of the existing population. An open-door policy is no longer sustainable. I propose a quota system based on the nation's capacity. Only individuals with work permits, guaranteed by companies willing to take full responsibility for their return, will be allowed to enter. Companies must ensure that their foreign workers do not burden the state, and only those who have no over-occupation of our cities and towns will be allowed to reside here. Moreover, the quota system would prioritize those whose four grandparents were Portuguese citizens, thus safeguarding the integrity of our nation and ensuring the preservation of our culture.

Mandatory Military or Civil Service Law

Our youth should not be coddled in the safety of virtual worlds and self-indulgence. Instead, every young man and woman should serve the nation through mandatory military or civil service for at least two years. This service will not only forge a new generation of disciplined and patriotic citizens but also prepare them to defend the homeland, rise up as leaders, and bring forth a new golden age for Portugal. These reforms would not just benefit the individual but also contribute to the strength and unity of our nation.

By implementing these three laws, we can awaken a dormant nation, shake it from the slumber of decline, and reignite the fires of greatness that once blazed in the hearts of our ancestors. This is the Portugal we must aspire to be, a nation of excellence, strength, and pride in every aspect of life.
