The Transformational Power of Reiki: Proof Isnt Everything
Do We Need to Prove that Reiki Exists in Order to Prove that Reiki Works?
When something works for you, does it matter if it's real or not? The devotee who creates their own divine path is transformed by their devotion, not by the object of their belief. Similarly, if energy work like Reiki helps center and balance you, does it even matter if it’s proven by science?
What works is up to the individual. Some believe in a divine path that makes them better people, so it’s best not to tell them otherwise. Others refuse to believe anything unless they see it themselves. Let them seek, let them learn, and don’t judge.
Personal Testimonies of Success
A few decades ago, I hyper-extended my lower back at work, and the pain recurred. Distraught, I consulted a massage practitioner who performed a technique called cranial sacral therapy. To my surprise, the pain was gone and never returned. This experience taught me that belief in the power of energy work can be as exhilarating as a genuine massage.
Proof and Acceptance in Modern Healthcare
It has already been proven. Cranial sacral therapy, a form of energy work, is even performed in some hospitals. Although it’s not universally backed by insurance, it is very real. Twenty-five years ago, I practiced healing with what I believed to be the energy of my hands, documented in a video titled 'Healing Hands.' Little did I know there was a name for this practice or that it was an accepted form of energy healing in other countries.
The journey to understand and document energy healing began when someone told me to help with headaches. I successfully relieved migraines, but what followed was unexpected. The individuals looked for their missing headaches as if they were companions, and their eyes darted around, as if searching for a friend. They then avoided me, finding it too strange to comprehend.
Miracles and Personal Choices
Once, I attempted to relieve cold and flu symptoms for a woman. Instead, I discovered a hernia previously unknown to her. She became furious, believing it would bring her a lifetime of disability. Over time, I observed that many people did not wish to give up their illnesses, even when energy work helped.
Now, I follow the Holy Ghost and whatever He directs me to do. I removed the video 'Healing Hands' because I couldn’t be certain if it was the channelling of energy or a gift from the Holy Ghost.
