Why Does Jesus Heal People from All Kinds of Sickness?

Throughout history, the question of why Jesus heals people from various illnesses has captivated countless minds. Jesus is known for his remarkable ability to heal, which He demonstrates through compassion, divine authority, and the promise of eternal life.

Jesus' Compassionate Healing

One of the primary motivations behind Jesus' healing ministry was compassion. In the New Testament, the words of Jesus Himself, recorded in John 10:10, provide insight into His mission: “The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Jesus healed many who were suffering due to the harsh treatment by the Pharisees and Religious leaders. He saw the need and the pain, and He felt compelled to provide relief and healing. As recorded in Mark 1:41, He stated, “When He saw a man with a withered hand, He asked, ‘Should we heal him, or should we let him alone?’
