Working in the restaurant industry, I would not have had the time to attend to her needs while managing a business. Fortunately, the restaurant industry offers robust positions that allow individuals to focus on their personal lives without the financial returns of entrepreneurship. For 25 years, I supported my mother until her peaceful passing in her own home, due to the care and effort I dedicated to her well-being.

Unlike business owners, employees do not have to plan and secure these benefits themselves, which can be emotionally and financially taxing.
